Class Trip to Dublin
From October 3rd to 7th, our English LK was off on a class trip to Dublin, Ireland. After an early start, we flew from Frankfurt am Main to Dublin. Once we had arrived, we jumped right into a three-hour city tour. Even though we were a bit tired, the tour gave us a great first impression of the city and its mix of history and charm. That evening, we settled into our cozy accommodation and enjoyed a nice meal together.
The second day was all about history and learning. We visited the Irish Emigration Museum, which turned out to be one of the highlights of the trip. It was super interactive and engaging, and we learned a lot about Irish emigration in a way that was both fun and fascinating. In the afternoon, we explored Trinity College, Dublin’s most famous university. Founded in 1592, it is full of history, and the highlight was definitely the Old Library. While we expected it to have more books on display, the building was still impressive, and we took some great photos there.
